Just 20 Km from Selcuk, Kusadasi is one of Turkey’s principal resorts and sees a high volume of tourists throughout the year. This is partly due to the huge yacht marina which plays host not only to daily boat cruises throughout the summer months, but also to large cruise ships throughout the year. As well as being an attractive town, full of lively bars and restaurants, Kusadasi has some excellent examples of Ottoman and Turkish mosques located in the centre. From Kusadasi there is easy access to some of the areas beaches including Pigeon Beach and City Beach.
Kusadasi is close to one of Turkeys most beautiful national parks – Samasundag Milli Parki which has good hiking trails and several stretches of sandy beach. Kusadasi is also within easy reach of Pamukkale and Ephesus, Priene, Miletus and Didyma.
